Abby Rotter, M.S., is a psychology extern and conducts individual therapy. She is currently a third-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University (LIU), Post Campus. Abby earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boston University and her master’s in Applied Psychology from LIU Post. Abby is trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and treats patients with a range of presenting problems, including emotion dysregulation, anxiety, and depression. She currently works as a psychology extern at an inpatient psychiatric facility where she treats high-risk patients. Prior to this externship, Abby provided individual psychotherapy and psychological assessments at LIU Post’s Psychological Services Center, a community based mental health clinic.
