Annie Fraiman, M.A.

Annie Fraiman, M.A., is a Clinical Extern at Evidence Based Psychology – NYC in addition to working as a student clinician at the Child and Parent Psychological Services Clinic at Hofstra University. Annie is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at Hofstra University.

Annie has experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, ADHD, selective mutism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD. She also has experience treating adolescents and adults suffering from eating disorders and related concerns. Annie has received extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy for adolescents (DBT-A), parent management training (PMT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and family-based therapy for treatment of anorexia nervosa (FBT). She is a certified parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) therapist, and is in the process of earning certification in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).

Annie has held clinical externship positions at the Mount Sinai Center for Excellence in Eating and Weight Disorders program and on the adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit at Bellevue Hospital.
