Julia Giordano, M.S. is a Clinical Extern at Evidence Based Psychology – NYC and a student clinician at the Parnes Family Clinic at Yeshiva University. She is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Combined School-Clinical Child Psychology Program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.
Ms. Giordano has experience providing treatment to children, adolescents, and young adults with ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, PTSD, psychotic disorders, depressive disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, selective mutism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, separation anxiety and related concerns. She has received extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, parent management training (PMT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Ms. Giordano has provided individual, family, and group therapy in outpatient, inpatient, and school settings.
Ms. Giordano has held externship positions on the inpatient hospitalization unit of Kings County Hospital, outpatient service at NYU Child Study Center, and Scarsdale Middle School.
Ms. Giordano is passionate about providing evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, parents, and young adults who struggle with mental health or learning disorders.
