Clinical Extern
Samantha Anduze, MA is a Clinical Extern at Evidence Based Psychology – NYC and is currently pursuing a PhD at The New School for Social Research. She holds a Master's in General Psychology and a Bachelor's in Psychology and Global Studies from Binghamton University. Samantha's clinical experience includes roles as a Clinical Extern at The New School Student Health Services and the Center for Motivation and Change, and as a Practicum Clinician at the Safran Center for Psychological Services. In these roles, she has provided individual therapy, crisis intervention, and group therapy to a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use, compulsive behaviors, and acute psychological distress.
Samantha's clinical approach is informed by her training in both individual and group therapy modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her clinical work is complemented by her participation in clinical interviewing and assessment in research settings, where she focuses on understanding emotional processes and psychopathology to enhance her therapeutic practice.
